When using MacUpdate Desktop 6, you likely will discover apps that you no longer use. Beyond simply taking up valuable space on your hard drive, outdated and unused apps can present security and privacy issues as well. Getting rid of these apps isn’t as simple as dragging the app to the trash because app preferences and data remain in hidden folders. We’ve found that the AppDelete or AppCleaner is the best way to remove the app and all its hidden files. Once you’ve installed AppDelete, simply right click on any app listed in MacUpdate Desktop 6 and select Delete with AppDelete.
